  Excellent location for a night away. Fantastic location, right on the waterfront, and an extensive menu, with plenty of seafood options. There is always one, and sometimes two real ales available. The bedrooms aren't the largest, but since you're in an ancient, traditional Inn, on the waterfront, what do you expect? I'm sure there are plenty of modern hotels in industrial estates in the central belt with bigger rooms if that's what you want. All in all a good stay

  Food was awful. Left most of it. Staff weren't welcoming at all. Basically walked in stood like we were an inconvenience. Finally asked where we could sit was pointed to a table through the back not a word said. We sat no menus on the table. Staff sitting eating next to us while talking loudly on there phone. We then find our own menus. Nobody comes near. We were so close to walking out. You've to order at the bar. Would of been nice if we'd been told. We try to order most of which they don't have. Finally we wait for our food. It arrives and boy were we disappointed. My husband said his was awful. The kids couldn't eat there's. And mine was pretty grim also. £50 that cost us. Never again.
